Ukraine Photography Workshop and Talk

I will be travelling to Ukraine to give photography workshops and talks from 17th February 2020 to 26th February 2020! The workshops will be held in the cities of Kiev (Kyiv) and Odessa (Odesa). It is my first-time visiting Ukraine, and I am very thrilled!

I will be spending two days in Kiev, three days in the Carpathians Mountains for a photo tour and lastly three days in the Odessa for my workshop.

I want to thanks Suncatchers (Irina Lugovenko) for this fantastic opportunity. Glad to be part of this journey as it helps me to share my knowledge about photography to people! I am very excited to share my experiences and past projects with Ukrainian photographers.

The main person behind this is Irina Lugovenko.

During my last travel in India at the Pushkar Camel Fair (in November 2019), she supported me when I was taking pictures of the festival. A few days later in Jodhpur (blue city), we met and exchange contacts. Here today we are doing a collaboration together in Ukraine.

The first part will be a talk of a two hours creative meeting session, which is free entry for anyone! I will be sharing about my journey from professional sport athlete to a professional photographer. I will be including a story about my experience of cooperation with various publications and brands. Explaining the process of my workflow. The storytelling part of this seminar will help to guide the upcoming photographers who want to venture documentary photography.

The second part will be the workshop about Portrait photography/Studio session, which is subject to fees. It is a combination of an hour of theory plus a two hours practice.

 The workshop includes the key pointers such as the laws of composition in photography, lifehacks, own style that makes photo recognizable. I will also be going through how to create a story and feeling through portrait photography and how to manage both artificial light and natural light. Furthermore, I will be explaining the workflow with a model or subject and processing the images.

For both the cities Kiev and Odessa, the programs will be similar!

Overall, this workshop is something I am looking forward to sharing with the photographers. I cannot wait to go to Ukraine and share what I have prepared for them.
