When I knew that I was able to try this new edition named Safien from The North Face, I was very excited. It is definitely the kind of style that I enjoy wearing.
The Safien Mid GTX Hiking shoes are part of The North Face ambition series which is a new collection that will redefine hiking.

When I first tried it on, it immediately gave me a familiar feeling like as though I had worn something as comfortable as Safien Mid GTX Hiking shoes .My hunch was right as the sole is the same technology XtraFoam used for the sole in my past TNF Men’s Endurus TR footwear. Look of The North Face Men’s Safien Mid GTX
If I want to mention about the look, it is very obvious that they do look great and minimal.
I love the mid cut and the minimalistic
Colour wise the design team did very good. For this model it is a Ebony Grey/Zinnia Orange; I will say a mix of grey tone with orange element. Matches very well with most of my pants
Travel and experience with TNF Safien Mid GTX
A few weeks back, I brought the Safien Mid GTX shoes with me on my travel to Sri Lanka. I had a commissioned photoshoot during my first few days in Colombo and then, I headed to one of the most scenic area in Sri Lanka – Nuwara Eliya. It is the heart of the tea plantation area and greenery. During my stay at Newark Eliya, I climbed up to the top of the Lover’s Leap Waterfall by a narrow trail and watched the beautiful view of Nuwara Eliya.
I really enjoyed using this shoes for hiking, traveling and walking around.
The shoes give a very impressive support, stability and protection during your outdoor activities. It is waterproof using a breathable Gore-Tex membrane. They are super comfortable.
I wish I had this shoes few months ago when I visited The Tibetan Autonomous Region in the West of Sichuan in China because the condition there was tough with the cold weather, snow and long walks around the mountains.
I will definitely recommend The North Face Safien Mid GTX Hiking shoes!
