Plantation – Chiang Rai

Photography Project by Jose Jeuland
Jose took it upon himself to document the field workers in his plantation photography project. He was very impressed with the time, labor and technical expertise put into this upstanding work. Here are some of the pictures he captured while traveling and documenting the work on a plantation.

Travel and Documentary Photography on Plantation in Chiang Rai – Thailand

More than 60% of the world’s economy depends on agriculture for survival. According to the World Bank Group on agricultural employment statistics, the percentage of people working in agriculture has dipped by 16% in the last 3 decades. Even so, the main economies of certain Asian countries are still heavily tied to agriculture.

Agriculture is a noble career and not many have the skills, talent and ability to do a good job. It is important that the wealth of knowledge and experience is passed down to later generations.
